Zaynab is a versatile and seasoned development practitioner with over 20 years of experience managing and providing technical assistance on a number governance and education reforms projects and programmes. Her expertise includes project design, management and coordination, community and stakeholder engagement, policy, planning and budget development, institutional systems strengthening and change management and evaluation.

Zaynab holds a degree in law and is a master of public policy and administration. Her previous roles include technical assistance to Kano, Yobe, Borno, Jigawa, Plateau and Kaduna State Governments, the World Bank, EU Commission, USAID and Amnesty International projects. Zaynab has also served as a State Representative of the UK Government Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) in Nigeria.
